Job Description
NISHANE is looking for a passionate and experienced Part-Time Sales Consultant to join our team at John Lewis Bluewater, Greenhithe.
As a NISHANE Sales Consultant, you will be a key ambassador for the brand, responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury customer experience while achieving sales targets and building long-term relationships with clients.
You will introduce customers to the world of NISHANE, sharing the stories and inspiration behind our fragrances and helping each client discover the scent that best reflects their personality and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a memorable luxury shopping experience.
- Act as a passionate ambassador for NISHANE and represent the brand to the highest standard.
- Drive sales and consistently work towards achieving and exceeding individual targets.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers through clienteling and follow-up.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the NISHANE fragrance collection, ingredients, stories, and new launches.
- Conduct fragrance consultations and confidently recommend products based on customers’ needs and preferences.
- Introduce customers to the wider NISHANE collection and maximise sales opportunities.
- Maintain excellent standards of counter presentation, visual merchandising, and stock management.
- Work closely with the John Lewis team and NISHANE management to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Participate in brand events, launches, and promotional activities when required.

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in luxury retail, fragrance, beauty, or premium customer service is preferred.
- A genuine passion for fragrance, luxury, and customer experience.
- Confident, enthusiastic, and engaging personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and commercial awareness.
- Ability to build genuine relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
- Professional appearance with excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to work weekends as part of the 24-hour weekly schedule.
Fragrance experience is desirable, but we are also open to candidates with strong luxury retail or premium customer service experience who have a genuine passion for fragrance and are eager to learn.
Position Details
- Hours: 24 hours per week
- Location: John Lewis Bluewater, Greenhithe, Kent
- Salary: Competitive salary + commission
- Weekend availability: Required
