About the role
flatfair is looking for a Sales Consultant to win new letting-agent and property-partner business across our product portfolio.
This is a self-generated new-business role. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline through targeted outbound activity, including cold calling, prospecting, networking, referrals, and social selling.
You may also manage inbound opportunities, but these will form a smaller part of the role, particularly during the first six months.
You will lead opportunities from initial contact through to contract and launch, working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and wider commercial team on larger or more complex deals.
What you will deliver
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of self-generated new-business opportunities.
- Create opportunities through consistent cold calling, targeted outreach, networking, referrals, social selling, and industry activity.
- Convert prospects into qualified opportunities by understanding their needs and communicating the value of flatfair’s products.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to proposal, negotiation, contract, and handover.
- Deliver agreed revenue and new-partner targets.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting data in HubSpot.
- Build effective relationships with decision-makers and commercial stakeholders.
- Represent flatfair at relevant industry events and customer meetings.
- Bring customer feedback, market insight, and competitor intelligence back into the business.
- Work with the CRO and senior colleagues on strategically important or complex opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The working environment
You will work remotely for most of the month and attend our London office every other Thursday.
You will also travel for customer meetings and attend approximately ten industry events each year.
You will have support from experienced colleagues, but you should not expect a steady flow of marketing-generated leads or a separate lead-generation team. Success in the role will depend on your ability to create your own opportunities, maintain consistent outbound activity, and move prospects through the sales cycle.
As our marketing and lead-generation capability develops, the mix of inbound and outbound activity may change. At the outset, however, this is a role for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, opening doors, and building momentum from a cold start.
Location: Hybrid - UK-based, with attendance at our London office every other Thursday and travel for customer meetings and industry events as required
OTE: up to £55k at target performance, uncapped

Experience of solution-led, technology, or financial-services sales would also be relevant.
Who this role may suit
This role may suit an experienced Sales Executive, Account Executive, or Business Development Executive who enjoys creating opportunities as much as closing them.
It is likely to suit someone who is comfortable working from a target account list, making cold approaches, and building their own pipeline rather than relying on inbound demand.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
