Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Sales Consultant role based in Exeter, with a combination of on-site work and some work from home. The Sales Consultant will identify new business opportunities, manage a pipeline of prospects, and deliver tailored solutions in workwear and hygiene services to customers across various sectors.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Meeting with clients
- Conducting needs assessments
- Preparing proposals
- Negotiating agreements that align with customer requirements and company standards

The role also involves maintaining strong ongoing relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and collaborating with internal teams such as operations and customer service to support seamless delivery.
The Sales Consultant will be expected to:
- Meet sales targets
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
- Represent Johnsons Workwear professionally at customer meetings and industry events
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills, with experience identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Proven focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a track record of building long-term client relationships.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident presentation abilities.
- Commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to work towards and achieve sales targets.
- Comfort using CRM and basic office software to manage pipelines, forecasts, and customer information.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time between on-site client visits in Exeter and home-based tasks.
- Previous experience in B2B sales, service-based industries, or textiles/workwear is beneficial but not essential.
- Valid right to work in the UK; a full driving licence is advantageous for client visits.
