Location: Field-based / Hybrid
Salary: From £27,000 + Commission + Fuel/Travel Expenses (Full Training Provided)
Looking for a Career in Sales?
You’ll be out in the field building relationships with local businesses to spark exciting new growth opportunities across diverse industries. You will be the driving force connecting employers and eager learners to our life-changing Apprenticeships, and funded training. Working alongside a supportive regional team, you’ll hit enrolment goals and act as the face of The Opportunity Provider at regional events.
The role will include some working from home, travelling to client sites and networking opportunities in your local area.
As a Sales Consultant, your focus will be on driving territory growth through strategic field prospecting, relationship building, and collaborative pipeline management. Your core duties will include:
- Proactively researching the assigned region to identify potential B2B clients and mapping out new commercial opportunities for funded training and apprenticeships.
- Traveling throughout the region to conduct face-to-face introductions with local businesses, establishing a highly visible and professional brand presence.
- Securing and leading meetings with key corporate decision-makers to present TOP’s tailored training solutions and successfully close new business.
- Utilising proactive outreach strategies (telephony, email, and face-to-face) to consistently meet or exceed monthly business development targets.
- Developing strong, trust-based relationships with newly acquired accounts to ensure seamless onboarding and promote long-term client loyalty.
- Accurately maintaining the internal CRM system to log all sales activities, track lead progression, and maintain a transparent overview of your pipeline.
- Working closely with Area Managers and internal delivery teams to align sales initiatives with regional enrolment objectives and operational capacity.
- Gathering client feedback and monitoring local trends to provide actionable market insights to internal departments.

About you
We’re seeking proactive, confident individuals with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a sales role.
- Experience of new business to business development and lead generation.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- A natural problem solver who can take initiative and is self motivated.
