Sales Consultant – Fine Jewellery
Location: London
Salary: £32,500 basic + commission + company bonus
We are looking for a commercially minded Sales Consultant to join an established fine jewellery business at its showroom. This is an opportunity for a confident, customer-focused salesperson who enjoys building relationships, managing their own appointments and closing sales. You will have a high level of autonomy, taking ownership of the customer journey from the initial consultation through to the final sale, with a supportive team behind you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client appointments from start to finish, delivering a personalised and memorable customer experience.
- Build trust and long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and guiding them through important purchasing decisions.
- Proactively drive sales and achieve individual targets, maximising commission opportunities.
- Confidently present products, communicate their value and close sales in a natural, consultative way.
- Take ownership of your personal performance, pipeline and sales results.
- Work independently while collaborating with the wider team to deliver business objectives.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the entire sales journey.

The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of converting enquiries into successful sales.
- Commercially driven, motivated by targets and excited by the opportunity to earn commission.
- Warm, confident and proactive, with a natural ability to build rapport and develop client relationships.
- Emotionally intelligent, able to read customers and adapt your approach without being overly pushy.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously, taking responsibility for your own results.
- Passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience, particularly when guiding clients through significant purchases.

Experience
Previous jewellery experience of around two years is preferred but not essential. We are equally interested in strong salespeople from luxury retail, watches, premium fashion, hospitality, art or other consultative sales environments who can demonstrate the right commercial mindset and approach to customer relationships.
Salary & Benefits
- £32,500 basic annual salary.
- Commission averaging £8,000 per year, paid quarterly, with the opportunity to earn more based on performance.
- Company bonus of up to 8%, available from month nine.
