Sales Consultant (London)
Location: Chelsea Wharf, London, SW10 0QJ.
Pay: £27,500.00-£29,000.00 per year

Roger Oates Design is a thriving luxury flooring business with locations in Herefordshire, Devon, and London. Established over 35 years ago, we are known for our hand-woven striped runners and floor coverings. Our products are produced using traditional techniques to ensure unrivalled quality for our discerning client base.
Role Description:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our London team - someone who will share our passion ensuring customers have a positive, engaging experience at every stage of their journey with us.
You will provide exceptional customer service in person, over the telephone, and by email. Confident, organized, and detail-oriented, you will have strong administration skills, a positive attitude towards sales growth, and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team. You will also be able to demonstrate initiative and communicate professionally at all levels.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Manage all aspects of the quote and order process efficiently.
- Organize installation dates and liaise with installers.
- Communicate effectively with both trade and retail clients.
- Respond promptly to all enquiries.
- Process sample requests.
- Maintain the appearance of the showroom.
- General office duties.
- Support the Managing Director and Office Coordinator in daily tasks.

The ideal candidate:
- A strong work ethic with a proven track record in a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong administration skills and detail-oriented with a high attention to accuracy.
- Efficient in MS Office with a high level of literacy, numeracy, and organization.
- An understanding and appreciation for quality and efficient service to high-end clientele.
- A high level of initiative with a hands-on practical approach.

- The ability to thrive under pressure combined with the commitment to being an engaging and collaborative team member.

Details:
- Location: Chelsea Wharf, London, SW10 0QJ.
- Hours of Work: 37.5 per week, 09.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday including 30 mins unpaid for lunch. Rotational Saturday working will be required where a day in lieu will be provided to maintain a working week of 37.5 hours. You may be required to work additional hours during busy periods.

- Full product training will be provided.

- Ability to commute/relocate: Chelsea SW10 0QJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
