What You'll Be Doing

  • To provide a professional and efficient service to all prospective and current customers and to secure the required profitable sales with the aim of achieving financial targets and an excellent customer experience in accordance with the commitments and ambitions of Our Vision.
  • Support the onsite sales team to maintain presentation of the sales areas to the highest standard.
  • Research the marketplace and use the data to sell above the competition.
  • Effectively manage a sales database to optimise opportunities.
  • Generate potential sales leads in addition to those created by marketing activity.
  • Apply effective selling skills to exceed required profitable sales targets.
  • Support progress secured reservations to completion.
  • Anticipate and manage the threat of cancellation and minimise the cancellation rates.
  • Ensure a smooth journey for the customer and the company during the legal process.
  • Effectively manage all customers and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Work as a participative member of the China desk team.
  • Effectively manage all sales administration to ensure that correct reporting is provided.
  • Effectively manage and resolve any customer complaints and queries in a timely manner.
  • Actively focus on self-development and the improvement of sales and sales management skills.
  • Represent Berkeley to the highest possible standards of business.
  • Cover other Berkeley St Edward sites when needed.
  • Conduct viewings of the marketing suites appropriate with agents and potential buyers from the Chinese market.
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing teams in the preparation of onsite events for Chinese and international markets.

What You'll Bring

Technical Competencies:

  • Previous experience in property or a target-driven sales environment is highly desirable.
  • Fluent Mandarin (spoken, written, and typing) is essential, with strong Business English skills.
  • Confident in delivering virtual consultations and presentations via Microsoft Teams and other digital platforms.
  • Comfortable engaging with international clients, particularly Chinese-speaking buyers, and understanding their expectations and preferences.

The standard default full-time working hours in the office are 8am-5pm with core working hours 9am-4pm.
