About Blue Education

Blue Education provides premium academic planning, tutoring, admissions preparation, personal development, and career guidance for ambitious students and families. We support clients across key stages of their education journey, from school and university planning through to career development. Our clients expect thoughtful advice, strong execution, clear communication, and consistently high standards of service.

The Role

We are looking for a UK-based, Mandarin-speaking Sales Consultant to build trusted relationships with prospective students and families and convert qualified enquiries into long-term Blue Education clients. This is a commercially accountable consultative sales role: you will combine high-quality education advice with active pipeline ownership, objection handling, follow-up, and closing responsibility.

You will manage prospective clients from initial enquiry through consultation, proposal, follow-up, and enrolment, while working closely with academic, Student Success, and operations teams to ensure recommendations are appropriate and deliverable.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation and Tailored Solutions

  • Conduct consultations with prospective students and parents to understand their academic background, goals, challenges, timelines, priorities, and expectations.
  • Use thoughtful questioning and active listening to identify both stated and underlying client needs.
  • Recommend appropriate Blue Education services and clearly explain the value, rationale, and expected client journey.
  • Handle questions, concerns, and objections professionally, including conversations about price, competing providers, and timing.

Sales Conversion and Pipeline Ownership

  • Own qualified leads throughout the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry and needs assessment to proposal, follow-up, negotiation, and final enrolment.
  • Actively progress suitable clients towards a purchasing decision and secure clear next steps after consultations.
  • Work towards agreed individual and team revenue, conversion, and activity targets.
  • Prioritise leads based on suitability, urgency, potential value, and likelihood of conversion.
  • Maintain consistent and timely follow-up without compromising the premium client experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Manage high-quality post-signing handovers to the relevant academic, Student Success, tutor, and operations teams.
  • Identify appropriate renewal, referral, and cross-service opportunities in collaboration with service delivery teams.

Market Development and Collaboration

  • Support Blue Education's UK sales strategy and contribute to events, partnerships, and other client acquisition activities.
  • Track competitor activity, emerging client needs, and relevant market trends, and share actionable insights with the wider team.
  • Work with Marketing to improve lead quality, campaign messaging, and conversion performance.
  • Work closely with academic colleagues to ensure recommendations are academically appropriate and commercially responsible.

Sales Administration and CRM

  • Maintain complete and accurate CRM records, including client needs, proposed solutions, lead stage, expected value, next action, follow-up date, and outcome.
  • Keep pipeline information current and transparent so that forecasts and conversion performance can be managed effectively.
  • Follow company contract, pricing, and approval processes accurately and consistently.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • Currently based in the UK, or able to relocate to the UK within an agreed timeframe.
  • Fluent Mandarin Chinese and professional-level English, both spoken and written.
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • At least 2 years of professional sales experience.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in education, education consulting, admissions, student recruitment, tutoring services, professional consulting, or another advisory environment.
