Sales Consultant – Mobility Bathrooms & Wet Rooms
Watford / Hertfordshire | Field-based, approx. 50-mile radius
Uncapped commission
About us
Age Care designs and installs mobility bathrooms and wet rooms that let people stay independent in their own homes. We work with private customers across the UK.
We're now expanding our availability in Hertfordshire and looking for an experienced Sales Consultant based in or around Watford.
The role
- You'll be the face of Age Care across your patch — visiting customers in their homes, understanding their mobility needs, surveying the space and specifying an adaptation that actually works for them.
- Attend pre-booked appointments from company-generated leads.
- Survey bathrooms and specify walk-in showers, wet rooms, level-access trays, grab rails, seating, and non-slip flooring.
- Produce accurate quotes and close the sale on the visit where possible.
- Hand over clean, complete paperwork so the design team can hit the ground running.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What we're looking for
- Proven sales experience in mobility bathroom adaptations, wet rooms, or a closely related home-adaptation trade.
- Solid working knowledge of accessible bathing products and what's practical in a real property.
- The judgement to survey a room and know what will and won't work before it gets to the installers.
- Genuine empathy; many of our customers are elderly, disabled, or recently out of hospital, and this is a consultative sale, not a pushy one.
- Full UK driving licence and happy to travel across the patch.
- Comfortable working independently and self-motivated on targets.
