Sales Consultant (18 month contract)
Location: Newmarket
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00-5:30pm (fully office based)
We are recruiting for a Sales Consultant to join a Worldwide travel team on a temporary basis. This is a fully office-based role, working across a range of travel products including cruises, package holidays, escorted tours, and tailor-made itineraries.
You will play a key role in delivering a high standard of service, managing client travel requirements efficiently and professionally.

- Handling incoming enquiries and recommending suitable travel arrangements based on client preferences and budget
- Booking a variety of travel products including cruises, tours, and bespoke itineraries
- Collecting balance payments and responding to general travel-related queries
- Liaising with internal departments, including Accounts, to resolve queries
- Supporting the Department Supervisor with administrative tasks and projects
Ideal Candidate:
- A genuine interest in travel, with personal travel experience or a passion for the industry
- Confident communicator with a professional and courteous approach
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries
- Have a positive, proactive, and can-do approach
