Sales Consultant
As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering our new build home ownership programme. You’ll manage the sales journey from first enquiry through to legal completion, ensuring customers receive excellent service throughout. Working closely with colleagues across Development, Marketing and external partners, you’ll help achieve sales targets while ensuring homes are presented to a high standard and all activity is compliant with our policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and ongoing support throughout the sales and conveyancing process.
- Register and respond to customer enquiries for new build homes.
- Work collaboratively to achieve the shared ownership sales programme and budget.
- Manage allocated schemes, ensuring homes are well presented and secure.
- Liaise with the Marketing team to advertise homes and prepare marketing materials.
- Organise and attend open days and events as required.
- Work closely with agents and internal teams to support timely legal completions.
- Attend development sites and meetings to support handovers, quality checks and progress tracking.

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Hybrid Working is available for this role working 2-3 days in the office dependent on business need. You will be based from our Exeter or Tolvaddon office.

- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.
- Problem‑solving skills with a flexible and proactive approach.
Knowledge
Understanding of data protection requirements in a sales environment.
Qualifications
Good level of literacy and numeracy. Evidence of continuing professional development.
Desirable
- Experience of property sales within an estate agency or similar environment.
- Knowledge of social housing and/or shared ownership.
- Understanding of the sales conveyancing process.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
