Leicester
Salary: Up to £31,000 DOE

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Sales Consultant to join a reputable and growing energy brokerage based in Leicester. This is a busy telesales role, ideal for an experienced sales professional who is confident making outbound calls, building relationships, and converting leads into sales.
Previous experience within the energy sector would be a bonus, but it isn't essential. What is essential is a proven background in outbound sales and lead conversion, along with the drive and resilience to succeed in a busy, target-focused environment.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Previous experience in a sales, telesales, or business development role
- Proven experience making outbound calls and converting leads into sales
- Confident and persuasive communication skills
- Target-driven with a strong commercial mindset
- Resilient, motivated, and able to thrive in a busy sales environment
- Ability to build rapport quickly and identify customer needs

Desirable:
- Previous experience within the energy, utilities, or energy brokerage sector
- Experience working with sales targets, KPIs, and CRM systems
- Experience within a high-volume telesales environment
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Making a high volume of outbound calls to prospective customers
- Following up on warm leads and identifying new sales opportunities
- Building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions
- Converting leads into successful sales and consistently working towards targets
- Handling customer queries and objections confidently and professionally
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on the CRM system
- Working as part of a busy and supportive sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Keeping up to date with products, services, and developments within the energy market

Requirements
As a Sales Consultant, you will need to be a driven, confident, and resilient sales professional who enjoys working to targets and isn't afraid to pick up the phone. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced telesales environment and have a proven ability to turn conversations and leads into sales. Energy sales experience is a bonus, but strong outbound sales and lead conversion experience is essential.
