Sales Consultant – Health & Fitness Club
Body Works West is an independent boutique health club in the heart of Notting Hill. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional member experience through outstanding customer service, best-in-class trainers, and premium gym, pool and spa facilities. We are looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Sales Consultant to help grow our membership community and play a key role in the club's continued success.
Reporting to the Sales & Membership Manager, the Sales Consultant is responsible for driving the club's sales performance through innovation, and exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive new membership sales daily, through proactive lead generation, outreach, conversion strategies, and engaging membership tours.
- Update and optimise all sales systems, enquiry channels, and membership sales processes.
- Develop and maintain corporate partnerships and relationships with local businesses, estate agents and community organisations to generate new membership opportunities.
- Support the Sales & Membership Manager with referral campaigns and internal marketing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to promote personal training services and refer prospective members to the Personal Training Manager where appropriate.
- Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the member journey by working collaboratively with department heads, responding effectively to feedback, and creating a welcoming, member-focused environment.

About you:
- Proven experience in sales or business development role; fitness industry experience is desirable but not essential.
- A strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills with experience using CRM and membership management systems.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven approach with the ability to identify opportunities and take initiative.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Able to work flexibly to support the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.

We're proud to be an independent club where relationships matter. You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact, work closely with a supportive team, and build long-term relationships with members in one of London's most established boutique health clubs.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 5 days per week, with 8-hour shifts (including a 1-hour break). The role requires flexibility, including working two weekends per month.
The position offers a basic salary of £32,000, plus uncapped commission with typical on-target earnings of an additional £7,000–£9,000 per year.
