Sales Consultant: Renewable Energy
Location: Llanelli : Field Based
Salary: A GBP 24,784 + Uncapped Commission OTE A GBP 40,000:A GBP 70,000
Hours: 9.00am:5.00pm Monday to Friday

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for an ambitious and motivated Sales Consultant to join a rapidly growing business operating within the renewable energy sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys meeting customers face-to-face, building relationships and closing sales. You'll be helping homeowners across South Wales reduce their energy costs by recommending renewable energy solutions tailored to their property and requirements.
Previous renewable energy experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as comprehensive product training will be provided.
The Role
As Sales Consultant, you will manage the sales process from initial consultation through to securing the sale, providing customers with a professional and consultative experience throughout.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Generating and managing your own sales opportunities alongside following up company-provided leads
- Selling residential renewable energy solutions, predominantly Solar PV, Solar Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pumps
- Visiting homeowners across South Wales to conduct face-to-face sales consultations
- Understanding customers energy requirements and recommending appropriate solutions
- Clearly explaining the features, benefits and potential savings associated with renewable technologies
- Preparing and presenting tailored customer quotations
- Building strong relationships and confidently progressing opportunities through to close
- Following up enquiries and maintaining accurate customer and sales records
- Working closely with office and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer journey

About You
We are looking for someone who is commercially driven, confident with customers and motivated by achieving results.
You Will Ideally Have
- A minimum of 1 year's sales experience, with demonstrable success against targets
- Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Confidence conducting face-to-face customer appointments
- A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach
- The ability to manage your own sales pipeline and follow up opportunities effectively
- A professional and positive approach
- A full UK driving licence
Experience within solar, renewable energy, home improvements or other residential/B2C sales environments would be beneficial, although candidates from other successful sales backgrounds are encouraged.
