Job Description
Join the market-leading branch in one of Scotland’s most desirable residential markets.
Corum Newton Mearns operates at the heart of one of Scotland’s most affluent and sought-after residential areas, representing exceptional homes across Newton Mearns, Giffnock, Whitecraigs and the wider East Renfrewshire market.
We are looking for a Sales Consultant to join the team.
This is an opportunity to work within an established, high-performing branch, in a market Corum has spent more than 23 years building.
You will be dealing every day with buyers and sellers in one of Scotland’s most active premium residential markets, working alongside an experienced team and representing a brand with an exceptional local reputation.
The role itself is varied, and you will:
- Manage buyer enquiries
- Arrange viewings
- Match buyers to homes
- Build relationships with prospective purchasers and sellers
- Identify new opportunities
- Play an important part in progressing sales from first enquiry through to completion
Great sales consultancy is about considerably more than administration – it is about understanding people and knowing when a buyer is serious. Understanding what they are really looking for. Remembering the family who missed out on one property when another comes to market. Recognising when a casual conversation could become a future instruction.
The best estate agents build relationships long before a transaction takes place, and that is what we are looking for.
Knowledge of Newton Mearns, Giffnock and Whitecraigs will be important. An understanding of the homes, schools, streets and communities that make East Renfrewshire such a desirable place to live will allow you to speak to clients with genuine authority.
Previous estate agency experience would be advantageous, but just as important will be your ability to communicate, build rapport and provide the level of service expected by clients operating at the premium end of the market.
