Role Description
This full-time hybrid Sales Consultant role is based in Birmingham, with flexibility for some work from home. The Sales Consultant will:
- Identify prospective learners and organizational clients
- Conduct consultative conversations to understand their needs
- Recommend appropriate Square Skills programs and solutions
- Manage a sales pipeline
- Conduct virtual and in-person meetings
- Prepare proposals
- Follow up to ensure successful enrollment and ongoing satisfaction

- Collaborating with marketing and operations teams
- Gathering feedback on customer experience
- Contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes and service delivery
The Sales Consultant is expected to meet agreed sales targets while building long-term relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Consulting skills, including prospecting, needs analysis, and solution-focused selling
- Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to deliver a positive experience and foster repeat business
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions and internal collaboration
- Consulting skills to provide tailored guidance and advise customers on suitable learning pathways and services
- Relevant experience in B2B or B2C sales, preferably in education, training, or professional services
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities across in-office and remote settings
- Comfort with CRM tools and basic digital productivity software (e.g., email, video conferencing, spreadsheets)
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high ethical and professional standards
- Formal education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory; equivalent experience is welcomed
