We have an excellent opportunity for a Product Developer to join our innovation team in Spalding where you will support the development of our Salads portfolio.
What you'll be doing
As a Sales Controller you will lead and develop a sales team to deliver targeted, profitable sales growth for our valued customer M&S.
Key Accountabilities:
- Set clear expectations for the account teams to deliver targeted sales and margin performance by nurturing customer relationships and expert negotiation of commercial agreements
- Own the customer relationship on behalf of Greencore and effectively engage with portfolio management, category and marketing teams to develop annual and long-term plans which capitalise on emerging consumer needs and maximise benefit to Greencore
- Supply accurate sales forecasts to all business planning processes within Greencore and provide risk and opportunity context to enable informed choices to be made
- Provide inspirational leadership which ensures the sales teams are engaged, focused, and delivering to their potential to motivate them to deliver sustainable results
- Develop a coherent customer and channel strategy for the relevant customer base which is aligned to business priorities, and which incorporates consumer insight and innovation
- Collaborate and work in partnership with the broader sales team, and with Marketing and Portfolio peers, to support the Chief Commercial Officer to develop a clear sales strategy underpinned by customer and channel strategies.
- Support the achievement of our sustainability plan through leading with a sustainability mindset
- Support the achievement of our inclusion and diversity aspirations through role modelling and personally leading and hiring inclusively, embracing and encouraging diversity
- Implement and ensure compliance with our data management and governance policies, procedures and/or guidance governance approaches so that associated risks are mitigated and managed

What we're looking for
- Proven Commercial/Sales expertise in a FTSE business
- Proven Leadership skills within a large/multi-functional/multi-site business
- Demonstrable track record of developing individuals and teams to continuously improve performance
- Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) operational understanding and cross functional experience of Category management, NPD and Marketing in addition to Sales
- Proven track record of building excellent commercial relationships with key customers/strategic
