Location: Torbay
Salary: £30,000 Basic | OTE: Up to £55,000 + Company Benefits
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has become available for an ambitious Sales Controller to join a successful franchised dealership in Torbay. This role is ideal for an experienced Sales Controller or a high-performing Senior Sales Executive looking to take the next step in their career.
Working closely with the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving sales performance, supporting and motivating the sales team, and ensuring every customer receives an outstanding buying experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Manager in the day-to-day running of the sales department.
- Assist in coaching, motivating and developing the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Help manage the sales process from enquiry through to vehicle handover.
- Maximise finance, insurance and value-added product opportunities.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure an exceptional customer journey.
- Assist with stock management, vehicle displays and pricing.
- Ensure all sales processes are compliant with FCA regulations and manufacturer standards.
- Monitor team performance and provide support to improve results.
- Step in to manage the department in the Sales Manager's absence when required.

About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous experience as a Sales Controller, Business Manager or Senior Sales Executive within a franchised dealership.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, organised and target-driven approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
