🔥 CHANNEL CONTROLLER – High‑Growth FMCG Manufacturer

ÂŁ80-90k base + car allowance + bonus
Homebased - 1-2 days office contact

TalentPool is partnering with an established, UK‑based FMCG manufacturer/brand that has undergone significant transformation and is now accelerating its presence across the Discounters, Convenience channels. This is a business with real momentum: strong brand equity, ambitious growth plans, and a leadership team investing heavily in new routes to market and commercial capability.

The opportunity:

  • Lead the commercial strategy across Discounters and Convenience.
  • Full ownership of channel P&L, including net sales, gross margin, trade investment and annual planning.
  • Build and manage senior customer relationships - negotiating annual agreements, pricing, promotional plans and commercial terms.
  • Drive distribution, availability and penetration across existing and emerging channels.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, enhancing brand presence across multiple routes to market.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing commercial team, coaching best‑in‑class customer management and execution.

  • Proven branded FMCG experience at Controller / Head of Channel / Senior NAM level.
  • Strong understanding of UK discounter, convenience and online grocery landscapes.
  • Advanced commercial acumen with P&L ownership and a track record of delivering profitable growth.
  • A strategic mindset combined with hands‑on commercial execution - someone who can build, influence and deliver.
