What You'll Do
In this position you'll play a key customer-facing role in supporting the sales team to achieve targets while working closely with finance and operations teams, ensuring we deliver excellent service to customers in a fast paced environment. Directly contributing to UK National Security Programs.
You will engage with customers to gather detailed enquiry information, ensuring everything is accurately captured within the CRM and MRP systems. You will process and compel quotations and establish relationship with customers in order to close the opportunity.
The day-to-day
- Assist the Dynamic Sales Team to deliver and meet agreed targets (quarterly and yearly)
- Provide a strong, supportive role to our Sales team by processing new enquiries and orders, serving as the first point of call for enquiries, answering calls and emails & maintaining excellent customer service.
- Supply pricing, lead-times, quotations, literature, etc, as required within a complex sales process
- Maintain sales tools to deliver accurate forecasts, including regular reports to relevant stakeholders
- Proactively identify and suggest improvements to internal processes and workflows in line with AS9100 and ISO9001
- Process sales orders, liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Assist in managing evaluation agreements, helping to maintain registers, including coordinating the dispatch and return of equipment
- Assist in preparing international export documentation to accompany shipments

What You'll Need
- Minimum 1 year experience in a customer interfacing role
- Be IT literate in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Must have, or be capable of obtaining, UK security clearance
