Sales Coordinator

Permanent position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and energetic multi-tasker, to build a career within the UK’s most forward thinking and vibrant charity fundraising merchandise company. This is an ideal opening for a bright individual who will work within a customer service environment.

You will be supported from Day 1 with training and development opportunities. As your product knowledge and skill base grows, you will be encouraged to progress within the company.

Rocket Charities, the prestigious, London based, fundraising merchandise supplier is looking for a bright and energetic Sales Coordinator to provide all-round support to the Sales Account Manager.

The Sales Coordinator Role

In the role of Sales Coordinator, you will provide vital all-round support to the Sales Account Manager, with an extensive portfolio of not-for-profit clients. The duties include sourcing products from the Far East and UK, briefing in-house designers, providing order specifications, processing and recording orders and general administrative support. This is a rare opportunity to develop a wide range of customer service skills to the highest level.

In the Sales Coordinator role you will:

  • Deal with client queries over the telephone
  • Provide the Sales Account Manager with quotes, order confirmations and other relevant documentation
  • Provide full administrative support performing as a PA
  • Assist in sourcing fundraising products from ethical suppliers and manufacturers
  • Produce artwork briefs for our in-house design team
  • Liaise and negotiate with product sourcing houses and manufacturers
  • Input client information to the sales CRM/ database application

Experience and qualifications within the following areas is preferred but not essential:

  • Excellent customer service skills and experience
  • Sales support or office administration within a busy office environment
  • Negotiating
  • Answering telephone enquiries from clients and contractors
  • Using a client database
  • Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Multi-tasking and prioritising own workload in a busy environment
  • GCSE level qualifications, including pass level grades for English Language and Mathematics
  • Fundraising Merchandise experience
  • Sales
  • Dealing with overseas suppliers
  • Understanding of ethical and ecological supply processes

Salary: £29,000 per annum dependant on experience (plus bonus opportunities)

This position is office based and applicants need to reside in commuting distance of Kentish Town
