Job Purpose

Sales Coordinator's at Dodds & Shute support the Account Management team in winning and delivering design-led, responsibly sourced projects by ensuring quotations, supplier coordination, and sales processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Support

  • Manage and review client quotations for accuracy, completeness, and commercial alignment.
  • Manage and close smaller client enquiries.
  • Support proposals and presentations.

Client and Supplier Coordination

  • Support communication with client and suppliers according to project deadlines.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, assist with sourcing suitable products.
  • Maintain and update product and supplier pricing and discounts across our internal systems.

CRM and Data Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate pricing, product, and discount data across systems.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy and quality of information.

Project Support

  • Coordinate samples, finishes, logistics, and meeting preparation for project meetings.
  • Capture action items from client and project meetings.

Team and Process

  • Keep our internal systems and CRM up to date.
  • Follow defined processes and support wider business initiatives (including sustainability and compliance).

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • 1–3 years’ experience in coordination, sales support, or administrative role.
  • Previous experience or an interest in design, interiors, or the built environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and comfortable working to deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident liaising with clients and suppliers in person and via phone/email.
  • Comfortable working with systems, data, and spreadsheets.
  • Proactive, adaptable and reliable, with a willingness to take ownership.
  • Positive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
