Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Department: Commercial

Base at: Hybrid - Based at Head Office, Kentish Town London and from home

Reports to: Head of International Sales

Collaborates: with Sales Leads, Sales Order Processing, Marketing, Retail Counter teams.

Job purpose Summary:

Escentric Molecules is a well-established privately owned niche fragrance brand with a cult following for almost 20 years. The brand, founded by Geza Schoen (perfume nose) and Paul White (creative director), consists of a relatively small team based in London and Berlin with an entrepreneurial, passionate, and creative culture.

The Sales Coordinator will be a critical member of the global commercial team. The role supports the entire sales team across UKI & International, including each regional sales lead and other sales leads and the Brand Manager (International). Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data consolidation, business reporting, and execution tracking.

Key responsibilities

Data consolidation

  • Consolidation of sell in and out data across retailers and distributors (standardize reporting templates)
  • SKU performance tracking (NPD, and slow movers)
  • Channel performance and geographic breakdown reporting
  • Consolidate distributor’s sales and SKU forecast
  • Inventory monitoring (stock levels, OOS etc.)

Business Reporting

  • Supporting prep of internal business reviews and board reports
  • Pulling data for key account meetings and negotiations

Execution Tracking

  • Audit retailer websites (product pages, banners, digital campaign etc) ensuring consistency
  • Tracking of promo calendars submitted from distributors
  • Reporting on promo uplift (GWP, POSM) from sell out data by retailer
  • Post campaign reporting
  • Consolidating VM compliance reports
  • Competitor visibility analysis

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications:

  • Degree educated preferably in Business, Economics and/or Marketing
  • Proven track record with minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Sales Coordinator, National Account Coordinator, Commercial Analyst, Category analyst or similar role.
  • Experience working with Luxury, Beauty/Fragrance, FMCG, retail or consumer goods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Escentric Molecules is an entrepreneurial organisation, and it is expected that the role will offer plenty of scope for growth with the business, which currently operates internationally in around 40 countries.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into commercial recommendations
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs: Word, Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
