Sales Coordinator

Location: Wetherby

Akula is a UK-headquartered, international outdoor furniture company, designing and supplying marine-grade furniture for some of the world’s leading hotels, resorts, cruise lines and commercial spaces.

With teams across the UK, USA, UAE and Asia, we work on projects around the world and are continuing to grow our international presence.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Coordinator to provide day-to-day support to our sales team and help keep activity running smoothly. This is a varied role covering sales administration, CRM support, customer enquiries and sample management, working closely with the sales team to ensure they have the information and support they need.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team.
  • Assist with customer enquiries and requests.
  • Prepare and coordinate sales documents, information and presentations.
  • Help ensure enquiries are directed to the appropriate salesperson.
  • Support the team with general sales administration as required.

CRM & Customer Data

  • Maintain accurate customer and contact information within the CRM.
  • Add and update new enquiries and customer information.
  • Help keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
  • Support the sales team with day-to-day CRM administration.

Sample Management

  • Coordinate sample requests from customers and the sales team.
  • Prepare, package and arrange the dispatch of samples.
  • Maintain sample records and stock levels.
  • Coordinate couriers and deliveries where required.
  • Keep customers and the sales team updated on sample requests.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive and willing to get stuck in.
  • A confident and friendly communicator.
  • Comfortable managing multiple day-to-day tasks.
  • Confident using systems and technology.
  • Able to work well as part of a busy team.

Experience

Experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service or a coordination role would be beneficial. Experience using a CRM or similar system would be advantageous, although training can be provided. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, confident with technology and keen to learn.

  • The sales team receives efficient day-to-day support.
  • Customer enquiries are handled and directed promptly.
  • CRM information is accurate and up to date.
  • Samples are prepared and dispatched efficiently.
  • Sales administration is organised and completed accurately.
