Operating internationally, the company markets, sells, and manages promotional and mall retail spaces in shopping centres, retail parks, city centres, airports, train stations, and more. Clients range from global brands and experiential marketing agencies to local businesses and independent promoters. SpaceandPeople focuses on understanding client needs to deliver tailored solutions for their promotional and retail objectives.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Glasgow for a Sales Co-ordinator within the Automated Services department.

The Sales Co-ordinator will support the day-to-day sales and coordination of vending and automated retail opportunities, assisting clients with identifying suitable venues for their requirements. The role will involve managing enquiries, coordinating venue opportunities, preparing and processing paperwork, and ensuring that clients receive a high level of service throughout the process.

Working closely with clients, venue contacts, and internal teams, the Sales Co-ordinator will help coordinate opportunities from initial enquiry through to booking and ongoing communication. The role requires someone who is highly organised, commercially aware, and confident in building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to client enquiries relating to vending and automated retail opportunities
  • Understand client requirements and identify suitable venues and locations for vending machines
  • Coordinate venue opportunities and communicate relevant information to clients
  • Prepare, process, and maintain accurate sales, booking, and venue paperwork
  • Liaise with clients, venue contacts, and internal stakeholders to progress opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and key venue stakeholders
  • Coordinate the administrative process from initial enquiry through to confirmed opportunity
  • Follow up on enquiries and opportunities to support the sales process
  • Keep client, venue, and opportunity information accurate and up to date
  • Provide timely updates to clients and stakeholders throughout the process
  • Assist with queries and resolve issues efficiently, escalating where necessary
  • Support the wider Automated Services team with day-to-day sales and administrative activity
  • Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships and support repeat business

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident communicating with clients and a range of external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple enquiries, opportunities, and deadlines effectively
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Comfortable working in a sales-focused and target-driven environment
  • Previous experience in sales coordination, sales administration, customer service, or a similar role is advantageous
  • Experience within vending, automated retail, property, retail, venues, or related industries would be beneficial
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using business systems and databases
