Sales & Customer Experience Executive £30,000 basic + uncapped commission Midlands | Full-time
We are recruiting for a brilliant sales opportunity with a growing, customer-focused business based in the Midlands.
This role would be perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys sales, building relationships and working with customers on a more consultative basis. You’ll be dealing with customers making higher-value purchases, so this isn’t about quick transactions or hard selling. It’s about understanding what someone is looking for, building trust and ultimately converting that relationship into a sale.
The Role
You’ll manage your own pipeline of prospective and existing customers, taking ownership from the initial enquiry and continuing to build that relationship after the sale.
A big part of the role will be speaking with new enquiries, understanding their needs, recommending the right options and confidently guiding them through the decision-making process.
You’ll also be responsible for structured follow-up, managing your pipeline and making proactive outbound contact where there is a genuine sales opportunity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a target-driven position, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working towards numbers and is motivated by the opportunity to earn commission.
Organisation is also really important. You’ll have multiple customers and opportunities at different stages, so you need to be someone who follows up, keeps accurate records and makes sure opportunities don’t get missed.
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to speak to candidates from sales, account management, customer experience or other commercially focused backgrounds.
You’ll need to be confident on the phone, naturally good at building rapport and comfortable having sales conversations around a higher-value product or service.
Previous CRM experience is essential, alongside being comfortable using spreadsheets and digital systems. You don’t need to be an Excel expert, but you do need to be organised and confident working with data, pipelines and processes as part of your everyday role.
