Korn Ferry is delighted to be partnering with LCM, a specialist manufacturer and global supplier operating within a highly technical and internationally connected market. With a reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, LCM works with suppliers and customers across the globe to deliver critical materials that support a range of industrial applications. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a Sales & Customer Service Administrator to join their close-knit team and play a key role in supporting customers and ensuring the smooth flow of information across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative SME environment where you will have broad exposure to customer service, sales administration, and international order management, while building relationships with customers across a global marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key link between production, sales, and customers, ensuring effective communication across the business.
- Communicate production updates, delivery delays, and order changes to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is captured correctly.
- Issue order acknowledgements and maintain regular communication throughout the order lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with customers, delivering a high standard of service and responsiveness.
- Maintain accurate customer records, spreadsheets, and tracking systems.
- Manage the company inbox, responding to enquiries and directing queries to the appropriate contacts.
- Update and maintain CRM and customer database records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and ensure expectations are managed effectively.
- Support continuous improvement of customer service and administrative processes.

Skills & Experience Required

- Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, order processing, or administration role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, and CRM/database systems.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Confident working with internal departments and external customers to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to take ownership and support a variety of tasks.
- Experience working with international customers or global businesses would be advantageous.
- Comfortable working within a collaborative SME environment and eager to learn about a specialised manufacturing sector.
