The Role

Customer Service Advisor

Location: Beeston, Nottingham NG9 1LA – Free on-site parking

Salary Banding: £29,025 - £30,553 per annum

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours per week: 37.5hpw Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30 – Hybrid working.

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and customer-focused Sales Customer Advisor to join our SO Resi team in Beeston.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support customers throughout their home-buying journey, providing guidance and handling a wide range of sales and marketing enquiries. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive an outstanding experience from their very first interaction with us.

We operate a hybrid working model with designated office days. You'll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same, supporting customers, resolving enquiries and working closely with colleagues across the business. Your communication skills, problem-solving ability and customer-first mindset will help make a real difference to our customers' experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Responding to customer sales and marketing enquiries via phone, email, webchat and social media online channels.
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
  • Taking ownership of enquiries and helping to progress through to resolution.
  • Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Supporting customers with information about Shared Ownership and SO Resi developments.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Experience working within a customer service environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • An interest in, or knowledge of, the property sector specifically Shared Ownership.
  • A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
