Role: Sales & Customer Service Assistant
Hours: Part Time - 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday
Duration: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Harlow
Duties
Our established client is looking for a customer service administrator to join their busy team. The position is varied and duties will include:
- Liaising closely with sales and marketing, operations, credit control, and other departments across UK, plus external stakeholders and system users.
- Keying orders from telephone and email.
- Handling customer and third-party enquiries on products and deliveries.
- Resolving customer service issues including missing parcels, issuing credit notes, authorising and arranging returns.
- Attending relevant meetings, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Liaising with London and overseas operations.
- Chasing warehouse delays.
- Covering in the warehouse. Warehouse duties include safe working, and timely, accurate stock management, movement, picking, packing, dispatch, and other ad hoc tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, sales support, and administration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail along with good organisational and time management. You will also be confident in using computing systems including Microsoft Office applications.
