Sales & Customer Service Executive
Location: Hybrid remote in Poundbury DT1 3AR (office based with some remote flexibility)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum, plus employee benefits and schemes worth over £3,000 (depending on experience).
Reporting to: Sales & Customer Service Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a Sales & Customer Service Executive to support the day to day delivery of customer enquiries, quotations, and orders.
This is a hands-on role focused on providing a consistent, high-quality service to customers while supporting sales activity. You will be responsible for managing enquiries, processing orders, and helping convert quotes into sales.
There is no cold calling in this role. You will be working with incoming enquiries and existing customers, focusing on delivering a professional and efficient service.
You will play an important role in keeping customer interactions moving, ensuring queries are resolved, and supporting the wider team to meet performance targets.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels
- Processing quotations, orders, and customer requests accurately
- Taking ownership of customer queries through to resolution
- Supporting customers with returns, order queries, and product questions
- Managing web orders and responding to online enquiries
- Following up on quotations to support conversion to order
- Keeping internal systems up to date with accurate information
- Working closely with the wider team to maintain service standards and workflow
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a customer service or sales role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good organisation and ability to manage workload
- Attention to detail and a professional approach
- A proactive mindset and willingness to solve problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- Experience using CRM or order processing systems
- Experience identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities
- Experience in a product or technical environment
