Ashley Ann is one of Scotland's leading manufacturers and retailers of fitted kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and home office furniture. With showrooms across Scotland and over 35 years of experience, we are proud to offer high-quality British-manufactured products alongside exceptional customer service.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Designer to join our Glasgow showroom.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded individual to design, sell and project-manage a wide range of residential projects while building a rewarding career with a well-established Scottish business.
The Role
As a Sales Designer, you'll guide customers through every stage of their project, from initial enquiry and design consultation through to completion.
Combining creativity with strong sales ability, you'll create inspiring designs, build customer confidence and convert opportunities into successful sales while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customers' requirements, lifestyle needs and budgets.
- Design kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and home office solutions tailored to individual customer requirements.
- Produce detailed quotations and design presentations.
- Build strong relationships with customers and maintain regular communication throughout the sales process.
- Follow up enquiries and convert design proposals into confirmed orders.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales and margin targets.
- Carry out site surveys where required.
- Manage projects from point of sale through to installation and completion.
- Liaise with installation teams, suppliers and colleagues to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Resolve customer queries and issues professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain strong product and industry knowledge, keeping up to date with the latest trends and innovations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that generates repeat business and recommendations.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry, or a similar design-led sales environment.
- A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong design skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Confident presenting designs and quotations to customers.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Winner or similar design software would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.

Hours
37.5 hours per week, including regular Saturday working on a rota basis.
