Job Overview

For nearly a decade, Thomas James Bespoke, create life-changing spaces, using design to transform day-to-day living. Combining beautiful design with traditional craftsmanship, modern techniques and high-quality materials has earned us an enviable reputation in the bespoke kitchen and furniture market.

We're seeking an exceptional Sales Designer to join our Design team based in our luxury showroom in Wilmslow.

The Role

In this role, you will be the key driver in transforming customer visions into stunning, functional designs that inspire and delight. Your energetic approach and keen eye for detail will help customers realize their dream spaces while maximizing sales opportunities. As a Sales Designer, you'll blend artistic talent with technical expertise to guide clients through the full journey from initial consultation to a beautifully designed handcrafted, bespoke luxury kitchen or furniture project.

You'll need a strong working knowledge of CAD software, sharp organizational skills, and a genuine passion for design and customer service. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career within an established, expanding business.

To ensure you can focus entirely on what you do best - designing and closing sales - you will be fully backed by our dedicated technical drawing office & project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their design preferences, needs, and project goals to take each project from inception to completion
  • Managing and leading the sales process, including following up leads promptly via our CRM system, producing designs, cost estimates and formal quotations
  • Presenting design proposals to customers in the showroom and on client home visits
  • Coordinating with our Technical Designer and Installation team to ensure a seamless hand-over
  • Following up with clients after installation to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
  • Managing multiple live projects at once, with clear and proactive communication throughout
  • Delivering an exceptional standard of service at every stage

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record in luxury, premium, or bespoke kitchen design
  • Proficiency in industry CAD or Cabinet Vision software
  • A strong design portfolio
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines
  • A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Understanding of CRM systems to manage leads and client relationships

Nice to Have

  • Current experience within the KBB (Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom) industry
  • A degree in creative art or interior design
  • Good working knowledge of kitchen installation and manufacture

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: Competitive + OTE (details on application)
  • Pay: From £60,000.00 per year
  • Experience:
    • Bespoke Kitchen Design: 5 years (required)
    • of KBB industry: 3 years (required)
    • CAD / Cabinet Vision: 5 years (required)
