Job Title: Sales Development Executive

Location: Office Based – UK Office

Salary per Annum: Dependent on Experience

Employment Opportunity: Permanent

Overall Responsibility

  • All sales activities for vehicle fleets of <25 from lead generation through to close.
  • Responsible for setting appointments for your regional BDM.
  • Internal Sales Exec responsible for maintaining and developing their own customer portfolio, with a keen focus on new business, to capitalize on customer relationships, follow up leads to distribute to the external sales team, and maximize the potential for growth of the B2B business.
  • Selling the full range of CamerMatics product lines.
  • Conduct online sales presentations as required.
  • Set appointments for your regional BDM.
  • Manage client relationships through the full sales cycle.
  • Provide a consultative role in finding the right solutions to clients’ needs.
  • Negotiating terms of a sale and subsequently closing out.
  • Advising of any forthcoming product lines that could be applicable to our customer base.
  • Work closely with other Sales Team members.
  • Responding to incoming inquiries or inbound leads from marketing.

Specific responsibilities in relation to Quotations & Proposals

  • Preparing Quotes.
  • Liaising with customers to find out updates on proposals and meetings with the regional BDM.

Specific responsibilities in relation to Outbound Calls & Communication

  • Cold calling prospecting with the view to setting up meetings for regional BDM.
  • Acting as the initial point of contact for prospective customers.
  • Responsible for gaining new business - via prospecting in the dedicated target market.
  • Develop customer contact strategy and the best practice for nurturing leads.

Specific responsibilities in relation to Customer Relations

  • Maintain and develop new customer relationships.
  • Liaising with customers to ascertain the status of potential orders.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of existing and potential clients' business and needs.

Specific responsibilities in relation to Data Collation, Sales & Marketing Intelligence

  • Responsible for keeping up-to-date data on customers.
  • Gather customer and market information.
  • Coordinate competitor analysis reports when required.

Specific responsibilities in relation to Personal Objectives / Performance

  • Reviewing own targets and subsequent performance.
  • Develop & maintain a major understanding of the Company’s target sectors.
  • Accountability for targets & results-oriented tracking.
  • Ensure that key data and target customer data is acquired and maintained (updated).
  • Build constructive internal relationships to gain greater cooperation on sales-led initiatives.
  • Be aware of the Company’s product release plans.
  • Build & foster strong internal relationships within the company.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have previous 4 years' experience in telesales or internal sales experience.
  • Demonstrable ability to sell complex and technical solutions.
  • Natural hunter skill set.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • The ability to engage with internal departments.
  • Be confident in creating own opportunities through cold calling and canvassing.
  • Demonstrable track record of telesales/Internal sales experience.
