Sales Development Manager
As a Sales Development Manager, you'll blend account management and new business initiatives. The Sales Development Manager role is a commercial partner to our Free Trade customers within a designated territory.
Patch Location: East Yorkshire – YO & HU postcodes

Qualifications
Your role as a Sales Development Manager
- Use effective customer account management techniques with a planned approach to present and negotiate a compelling commercial offering that delivers the sustainable profit ambition for the territory.
- At the territory level, accountable for the delivery of the Free Trade Sales strategy with a preference for own brewed products.
- Backed up by the range of products and services available, apply creative market-leading methods to support existing customers and acquire new business accounts that deliver trading profit and volume targets.
- Effective use of joint business partnerships (JBPs) that maximises the opportunity for distribution targets with our key suppliers.
- Create a planned approach to the management of the territory to release full competitive advantage of the promotional activity campaigns from the marketing teams.
- Balance the customer requirements with our exposure to risk by providing financial support to Free Trade accounts via Greene King loans of up to £750k that underpin delivery of OBV targets.
- Through partnering to understand the customer requirements, continuously improve the relationship with current and prospective accounts to make Greene King a trusted go-to partner driving sales and delivery of territory targets.

What You’ll Bring...
- Experience as a Sales Manager with the ability to take ownership.

- High-level ability in data and financial analysis to plan and implement effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- On trade experience is advantageous.
