Role Summary

The Mid-Level Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a key driver of our B2B growth, responsible for identifying and engaging high-value prospects within the media and publishing landscape. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on bridging the gap between marketing interest and closed deals by securing high-quality discovery calls for the sales team. Success is measured by the volume and quality of the sales pipeline generated through persistent, multi-channel outbound outreach.

Work Setup & Collaboration

  • Hybrid Model: Based in London with a requirement of 2–3 days per week in the office to foster team culture and real-time coaching.
  • High Autonomy: Expected to manage your own daily schedule and outreach cadence while aligning with broader regional sales strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Account Executives (AEs) to ensure seamless handoffs and with Marketing to refine lead-generation messaging.
  • Process-Oriented: Requires disciplined use of CRM tools and adherence to established sales sequences to ensure data integrity and scalable growth.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers across B2B companies to build a robust prospecting database.
  • Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns using email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to initiate meaningful business conversations.
  • Qualify inbound leads quickly to assess fit and urgency before escalating to the Account Executive team.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls between qualified prospects and Account Executives to build a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Maintain precise CRM data to ensure accurate forecasting, lead tracking, and pipeline visibility for the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and contribute to the development of effective sales messaging.
  • Own the early-stage funnel by identifying bottlenecks in the outreach process and suggesting improvements to increase conversion.
  • Participate in sales sprints and training sessions to sharpen negotiation, objection-handling, and prospecting skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
