Position

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential business opportunities, initiating contact with prospects, and scheduling appointments for the Business Development team. This is a key role in driving pipeline growth and supporting the overall sales strategy.

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative who can ensure we meet our business growth objectives for our leading UK pharmacy product – RxWeb. This role will report directly into the Managing Director.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Engaging in outreach to new and existing accounts for lead generation.
  • Generating sales through new business and existing business.
  • Identifying growth and upgrade opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Attending sales meetings/demonstrations/presentations with potential and existing customers.
  • Supporting inbound and outbound sales campaigns.
  • Understanding of competitor products.
  • Ongoing awareness of industry, market and product knowledge.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings for Business Development Managers.
  • Collaborate with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and campaign responses.
  • Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers.
  • Achieve weekly/monthly KPIs including number of calls, emails, and booked appointments.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a Sales Development role (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Target driven.
