Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Cyber Security

Location: Glasgow
Type: Full Time
Division: SilverCyber (Part of SilverCloud)

About the Role

SilverCyber is looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing cyber security division.

Working closely with the Head of Cyber Solutions and our Head of Marketing, you’ll help generate new business opportunities with SMEs across Scotland and the UK, engage prospective customers and book qualified meetings for our cyber specialists.

We’re interested in potential as much as previous experience. You don’t need an established business network, extensive LinkedIn experience or a cyber security background. We’ll provide training and coaching to help you develop these skills.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills who wants to build a career in sales and cyber security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage SME businesses across Scotland and the UK.
  • Generate opportunities through calls, email, LinkedIn, networking and marketing activity.
  • Identify business and cyber security challenges and engage key decision-makers.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book meetings for our cyber specialists.
  • Work closely with the Head of Cyber Solutions and Marketing teams on campaigns, events and lead-generation activity.
  • Build your professional network and LinkedIn presence.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
  • Work towards agreed meeting and pipeline-generation targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
