I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Do
You'll play a direct role in Andela's growth by:
- Own outbound prospecting across a defined territory or strategic account list, creating new pipeline through thoughtful, multi-channel outreach.
- Partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives to develop account strategies, identify buying signals, and engage multiple stakeholders throughout the buying journey.
- Build relationships with senior decision makers across Engineering, Technology, Product, HR, and Procurement organizations.
- Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities through discovery conversations that uncover meaningful business challenges.
- Support enterprise sales cycles by conducting research, maintaining stakeholder maps, coordinating meetings, and contributing to account plans.
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and account-based initiatives that generate demand within target accounts.
- Consistently exceed activity, pipeline, and meeting goals while continuously improving your prospecting approach through experimentation and data.
- Become an expert in AI, software development, and global talent trends so you can speak credibly with enterprise technology leaders.
What Makes This Role Different
We don't see SDRs as a support function—we see them as future enterprise sellers. You'll receive hands-on coaching from experienced sales leaders, work alongside high-performing Account Executives, and learn how enterprise technology deals are built from first conversation through closed business. Whether your goal is becoming an Enterprise AE, leading a sales team, or building your own business one day, you'll develop the commercial skills and business acumen that accelerate your career.
