About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated, inquisitive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high-performing UK team.
This isn’t your average entry-level sales role. At Cision, SDRs are strategic partners - qualifying leads, understanding client challenges, and booking high-quality product demonstrations for our Business Development Managers to close.
You’ll engage with marketing and communications professionals across some of the UK’s most influential organisations, helping them streamline workflows, gain media insights, and measure their PR impact using Cision’s world-leading technology.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who’s looking to break into SaaS or B2B sales in a structured, supportive, and ambitious environment.
What You'll Do
- Drive quality outbound and inbound outreach through phone, email, and LinkedIn (around 60+ strategic activities per day).
- Qualify leads to ensure they’re sales-ready and aligned to business needs.
- Understand the goals of PR and marketing professionals and articulate how Cision’s software delivers value.
- Book qualified demos and collaborate closely with BDMs to move opportunities forward.
- Partner with your team to test messaging, share learnings, and continually improve outreach performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
