Sales Development Representative — Commission Only (Part-Time, Remote)

The JP Group | 15% Commission | 2–3 Days Per Week

The JP Group is a management development and behaviour change consultancy, working with organisations including Sky and BT to build confident, capable managers who lead well under pressure. We're looking for a high-energy Sales Development Representative to drive a high volume of outbound calls and build our pipeline of new business.

The Role

This is a high-volume, outbound-first role. You'll be working through a warm and targeted list of HR Directors and People Leaders, making a strong number of calls each day, and booking qualified meetings for our Founder to take forward. It's a numbers game as much as a conversation game — you need to enjoy the dial, not just the close.

What you'll be doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Making a high volume of outbound calls daily to HR and People contacts
  • Opening conversations about management capability, behaviour change and leadership development
  • Qualifying interest quickly and booking meetings into the diary
  • Working through call lists efficiently and keeping accurate records of activity and outcomes
  • Hitting weekly call and meetings-booked targets

What we're looking for

  • A strong, confident verbal communicator who's comfortable on high call volumes
  • Proven experience in outbound sales calling, telemarketing or SDR-style prospecting
  • Resilient and target-driven — comfortable with rejection and quick to move to the next call
  • Organised and self-directed — this is a commission-only role, so consistency and pace matter
  • Genuine interest in HR, L&D or management development is a bonus, not essential

The details

  • Commission only: 15% on sales generated from your booked meetings
  • Part-time: 2–3 days per week, flexible to fit around you
  • Remote working, with initial training delivered in person at our offices
  • Ideal for someone building a portfolio of part-time or freelance sales work

Why this role

This isn't a script-and-dial job for the sake of it. You'll be talking to people who genuinely need what we offer — HR leaders wrestling with inconsistent management, escalating people issues and managers who were promoted but never trained to lead. If you can work a call list with pace and get us a seat at the table, the earning potential is strong and uncapped.
