Role Summary
UK Connect seeks a Sales Development Representative with a strong track record in delivering a consistent and high-quality pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales department. This position exists to identify, engage and qualify prospective customers, creating meaningful sales conversions that drive revenue growth.
Sales Development Representatives at UK Connect are the first point of contact for potential customers and become the critical link between marketing and sales, by delivering a seamless transition from initial engagement through to sales conversion.

About You
As a driven and commercially minded individual, you excel at generating high-quality sales opportunities in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You are confident when it comes to building rapport quickly and can uncover customer needs, enabling you to consistently deliver strong pipeline results. With excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, you act as a vital link between marketing and sales, ensuring smooth handovers and maximizing conversion. This role suits someone motivated to opening doors, building relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Engagement & Qualification: All leads are proactively sourced, promptly contacted, and thoroughly qualified against key criteria, with clear outcomes.
- CRM & Pipeline Maintenance: Ensure all leads are accurately captured and maintained in the CRM with clear next steps and timelines, with qualified leads converted into quantified opportunities reflecting full revenue potential.
- Internal Collaboration & Handover: Provide clear feedback to Marketing on campaign performance and lead quality, collaborate on refining lead generation strategies, and ensure well-informed handovers to Account Managers and Sales Engineers.
- Product & Solution Awareness: Maintain a strong understanding of both UK Connect's core solutions and positioning.
