Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Pulse Point
1–2 days per week | Hybrid | Self Employed
Pulse Point is growing, and we're looking for a confident, personable Sales Development Representative to join us on a freelance basis.
The role will focus on:
- Following up existing and warm leads
- Making outbound calls to prospective organisations
- Building relationships with potential clients
- Qualifying opportunities
- Booking discovery calls for the Pulse Point team
We're looking for someone who is comfortable on the phone, enjoys speaking to people, and has a natural, consultative approach to sales.
Previous experience in sales, business development, or appointment setting would be useful, but personality, confidence, and a willingness to pick up the phone are just as important.
1–2 days per week | Hybrid working | Self Employed
£160 per day + commission

The Sales Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Cheshire West and Chester Area. The individual in this role will focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads through outbound and inbound activities, and nurturing early-stage relationships with prospective clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting discovery calls
- Engaging decision-makers
- Presenting the value of Pulse Point’s solutions
- Scheduling meetings or demos for the wider sales team
The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, collaborating closely with marketing and sales colleagues, and providing feedback on market trends and customer needs to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience in prospecting and qualifying opportunities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including confident phone, video, and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales and Business Development skills, with the ability to build rapport, handle objections, and progress opportunities.
- Relevant experience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, or workplace wellbeing solutions is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Cheshire West and Chester Area and collaborate within a cross-functional team environment.
- Comfort using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools to manage pipelines and track activities.
- Strong organizational skills, resilience in a target-driven environment, and a proactive approach to learning and professional growth.
- A background in business, psychology, HR, or related fields is an advantage but not required.
