Sales Development Representative (SDR)
[London] | Entry level, little to no sales experience required, work from home | £30,000 guaranteed plus uncapped commission | £50,000 OTE in year one
We generate the leads. You have the conversations. The commission is uncapped.
Investing Insiders is two years old and already one of the fastest growing platforms in UK financial media. Ten million views. Partnerships with all the major investment platforms. FCA regulated. Quoted in the national press daily.
We are now building the sales team that takes this to number one, and this is one of the first seats in it.
What the job actually is
Every day our in-house marketing team generates enquiries from people who have raised their hand and asked for help.
You call those people. You find out what they are actually trying to sort out. Qualify and proceed.
That is the role. It is warm, it is genuinely useful, and it converts. What we need from you is the ability to hold a good conversation, make people feel like they are in good hands and have come to the right place.
Who we are
Two years old. In that time:
- 10M+ views across platforms, 1.5M+ on TikTok alone
- 100K+ followers, and 70,000 to 100,000 website visits every month
- Working directly with all major UK investment platforms
- FCA regulated
- Super experience leadership team in the finance and lead gen space

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you will be doing
- Calling people who have left their contact details
- Qualifying properly, upholding our brand and the standards we're known for
- Managing your pipeline closely from first contact all the way through to the meeting date
- Running your own pipeline and staying on top of your follow ups
- Hitting weekly and monthly booking targets
- Telling marketing what you are hearing on the phones, because it changes what we run next
Who does well here
You do not need a sales background. Some of the best people in this job come from anywhere you have had to talk to people all day and keep going when it is hard: hospitality, retail, recruitment, promotions, customer service, competitive sport, or straight out of university.
What actually matters:
- You are comfortable on the phone, and you sound like a person rather than a script
- You listen more than you talk
- You are organised enough that nothing slips
- You take coaching, use it the same day, and come back for more
- You want to earn, and you are willing to do the volume that requires
If you do not tick every box, apply anyway. We care far more about how you handle the first conversation with us than about what is on your CV.
Who does not
This is a phone first role in a company moving quickly. Everyone here, up to founder and director level, is still on calls and still in the work. There is no hiding behind a title, and your numbers are visible. If you want a quiet role with a fixed script, this is not it.
