Are you ready to pioneer business growth in emerging markets and help influence enterprise tech leaders? We’re seeking a passionate Sales Development Representative (SDR).
The Opportunity
In this catalyst role, you’ll be the gatekeeper and enabler of our emerging markets expansion, setting up critical conversations for our direct sales force. You will:
- Stand out as the compassionate yet bold voice of Anaplan, leading with a compelling message: “There’s a smarter, easier way to do business planning, forecasting, and modeling.”
- Partner with Fortune 2000 CXOs to deliver high-value propositions and sales enablement.

Why This Matters
As an SDR in Emerging Markets, you’ll:
- Drive Global Growth: Reach into key markets through rapid lead generation, delivering swift follow-ups on inbound enquiries, and executing outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social outreach).
- Strategise & Collaborate: Partner closely with our Enterprise Sales reps to craft Account-Based Sales (ABS) plans—targeting the right stakeholders, at the right moment, with the right messaging.
- Master Value Selling: You’ll receive continuous mentorship to lead consultative, value-centric discussions with high-level executives, transforming challenges into actionable solutions.
- Crush Goals: Demonstrate your determination and hustle to consistently meet demanding weekly and monthly sales metrics, critical for scaling our sales capability.

What We’re Looking For
Applicants must bring:
Core Language Competencies
- Fluent Chinese (putonghua/mandarin OR local dialects), Russian, or Polish (preference for any two of these), along with fluent English—essential for engaging with regional buyers.
The Drive to Win
- A proven history of exceeding targets and goals—this could be in sales, ecosystem partnerships, or performance-focused fields. Closing sales experience is ideal but not mandatory.
- Persistence and the “X-factor” that helps you turn objections into commitments.
Ideal Experience
- 1-2 years in inside sales or business development (preferably in SaaS/Cloud), able to navigate into Fortune 2000 accounts.
