Salary: £25,750 per annum + uncapped commission (Realistic OTE of £50 - £60K)

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Whiteley, Hampshire (On-site)

About the role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will prospect, qualify, and convert new business opportunities while identifying upsell potential. Working in a collaborative, target-driven office environment with full training and supportive leadership, you will engage prospective business clients (SME’s), understand their communication needs, and introduce tailored solutions that deliver genuine value.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively contact businesses over the phone to discover and qualify their telecoms and connectivity requirements.
  • Identify, nurture, and progress high-quality sales leads from initial conversation through to closing deals.
  • Actively listen to customer challenges, present the right solutions, and guide clients smoothly through the decision-making process.
  • Learn and apply proven sales methodologies to negotiate pricing, terms, delivery, and specifications to achieve target volume and profit.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and explore opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, and upselling.
  • Keep CRM (Salesforce), records up-to-date while upholding Ofcom standards and internal compliance.

What we're looking for

  • A proactive, self-starter with high energy and a determination to hit and exceed targets.
  • Natural people skills with a clear, professional, and engaging telephone manner.
  • A positive, can-do approach with the ability to bounce back from challenges and keep focused on results.
  • A customer-focused mindset.
  • Accuracy in tracking information, managing administrative tasks, and recording customer data.
  • Comfortable using standard computer tools and Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Excel, Word).
