About Dataro
Dataro is a fast-growing tech company with a bold mission: set a new standard in charity fundraising. Our AI-driven SaaS tools help nonprofits raise more funds and make a bigger impact in the world. We work with more than 250 organisations across 20+ countries - including UNICEF, Greenpeace, Amnesty International and Save the Children - and we’re looking for someone to help us reach many more of them across the UK and Europe.
We closed a Series A funding round in February 2026, led by Blueprint Equity, and are investing that backing into growing the UK and European business.
About the Role
As our Sales Development Representative for the UK and Europe, you’ll be the first point of contact between Dataro and the fundraising leaders at large charities across the region. You’ll find the organisations with a problem worth solving, work out who inside them owns it, and open the conversations that let our Account Executives take things forward.
This is an outbound role and it sits at the front of everything we do commercially in the region. You’ll report directly to our Head of Region, UK & Europe, and work day to day alongside two Account Executives. You’ll own your own patch of target accounts across the UK and continental Europe.
This role is ideal for someone a few years into their sales career who wants a real patch rather than a script, and who is ready to move quickly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Research and prioritise target charities across the UK and Europe, using our ideal customer criteria and live buying signals rather than working an undifferentiated list.
- Run multi-channel outbound - email, LinkedIn and phone - leading with a relevant insight about the prospect’s fundraising programme, not a product pitch.
- Map the buying group, identifying the fundraising managers, data leads and individual giving specialists who feel the problem day to day, and understanding how decisions actually get made inside each organisation.
- Qualify hard and disqualify quickly. A fast no is more useful than a long maybe, for us and for the prospect.
- Book and hand over qualified meetings, with enough context that the Account Executive walks in properly prepared.
- Work across European markets, adapting your approach to local fundraising practice - the sector looks quite different in the Nordics, the Netherlands and the UK.
- Keep HubSpot accurate - accounts, contacts, sequences, activity and notes.
- Act as the voice of the market internally, feeding what you hear back to Sales, Marketing and Product. You’ll be closer to prospective customers than almost anyone else in the business.
Qualifications & Key Skills
- 1–3 years’ experience in an outbound SDR or BDR role, ideally B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding outbound activity and meeting targets.
- AI Native - foundational understanding of AI-based efficiency tools (e.g. Claude), and a habit of using them.
- Clear, plain written English. Most of your first impressions will be made in writing, and charity audiences respond badly to hype.
- Comfortable with structure and discipline: sequences, activity cadence, CRM hygiene.
- Interest in the nonprofit sector and a genuine curiosity about how charities raise money — direct mail, regular giving, digital, major gifts.
- Familiarity with nonprofit CRM platforms (e.g. Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce NPSP, Blackbaud, Microsoft Dynamics) is useful but not required.
- Experience with HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
