Wenham Carter is supporting a global leader in the warehousing systems market, with more than 50 years of experience in the industry. Its main business activity consists of applying the industry’s most advanced technologies to the design, manufacture, sale, and provision of services relating to automated warehouses, warehouse management software, and metal racking.

The sales department requires a sales development representative, and the ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts. You will discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships. You will be in charge of carrying out the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Business development for the Trade channel.
  • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers for Racking and shelving warehouse solutions.
  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM.
  • Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities.
  • Technical advice and developing of quotes within your area.
  • Ensure long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Develop weekly and monthly sales plans with sales forecasts.
  • Ensure completion of projects through coordination with Engineering, Logistics, Installation, and Administrative departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • At least 1 - 2 years' of relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • A background of selling into the Warehousing/Logistics Industry is desirable.
