Business Development Representative – FinTech SaaS

London

£35,000–£40,000 base | £55,000–£65,000 OTE + Benefits

Certus Recruitment is working with AlternativeSoft, an award-winning financial software business providing sophisticated investment analytics, portfolio construction, due diligence and reporting solutions to financial institutions globally.

Working with asset managers, family offices and investment firms across EMEA, APAC and the US, AlternativeSoft has built an established international client base and is now looking to add a Business Development Representative to its London sales team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious BDR with around 12–18 months' experience within SaaS, technology or a related B2B sales environment who wants to develop their career within a specialist FinTech business.

Working closely with the Head of Sales and senior sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and booking high-quality demonstrations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
