Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: Caernarfon, Gwynedd
Working Pattern: Full-time, office-based
Package: Competitive basic salary + uncapped commission
Sector: SaaS Technology – Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
Reporting to: Head of Sales & Partnerships

About Adoptech

Adoptech is a growing SaaS technology company specialising in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). Our technology helps organisations simplify the complex world of compliance, giving businesses a smarter and more efficient way to manage their governance, risk and compliance requirements. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Caernarfon and play a key role in developing our new business pipeline.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build a successful career in technology sales and be rewarded for their performance. We offer a competitive basic salary plus uncapped commission, giving you the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings based on your success. Reporting directly to our Head of Sales & Partnerships, you'll be at the front end of our new business sales process, working closely with the wider sales and marketing team. Your role will be to identify organisations that could benefit from Adoptech, engage the right decision-makers, understand their challenges and create qualified opportunities for our sales team. You'll use a combination of phone, email, LinkedIn and targeted outbound prospecting to start conversations and develop relationships with prospective customers. You don't need to arrive as an expert in GRC. We'll provide the training and support you need to understand our platform, our customers and the Governance, Risk and Compliance market. What we're looking for is ambition, confidence, resilience and a genuine desire to succeed in sales.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Research and identify prospective B2B customers that fit Adoptech's target market.
  • Identify and engage relevant decision-makers.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting.
  • Make outbound calls and confidently introduce Adoptech to prospective customers.
  • Use email, LinkedIn and other channels to engage and nurture prospects.
  • Ask intelligent questions to understand business challenges and GRC requirements.
  • Qualify prospective customers and identify genuine sales opportunities.
  • Book high-quality discovery meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to inbound and marketing-generated leads.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Follow up consistently and nurture longer-term opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of conversations, activities and opportunities within our CRM.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to improve campaigns, messaging and lead generation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Adoptech's SaaS platform and the wider GRC market.
  • Work towards and exceed agreed activity, meeting and qualified-opportunity targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
