About the job
Tyred is a London-based micromobility company on a mission to build the infrastructure layer of cycling: an all-inclusive platform that owns every step of a bike's life on the road. We have serviced more than 100,000 bikes for clients including Europe's largest shared e-bike operators, the UK's biggest delivery networks, and public institutions. We recently closed a £2.5m round, and as we scale we are looking for ambitious individuals who want to help build a category from scratch, own their patch of it, and turn it into their next chapter.
Tyred centralises the entire micromobility upkeep stack (mobile servicing and repair, recurring fleet maintenance, bikes-as-a-service leasing, subscription maintenance, parts) into a single subscription. But we are not stopping there. We are building the software and data layer that sits above it: an app with live component-level condition scoring, market value tracking, embedded insurance, and AI that predicts failure before it happens, prices risk in real time, and learns from every kilometre ridden. We intend to own the customer, the data, and the moment the bike breaks. That is the category we are building, and it does not exist yet.
Tyred is looking for a driven and commercially-minded Sales Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for the businesses we sell to, opening conversations with employers and workplaces exploring cycling as part of what they offer their staff. You will handle outbound, qualify inbound interest, and set up the meetings that turn into signed accounts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
